Rocco Buttiglione

Philosopher, academic and former Italian minister

Rocco Buttiglione is an Italian philosopher, academic, and statesman. His intellectual work has focused especially on the philosophy of the person, ethics, Catholic social teaching, and the thought of Karol Wojtyła/Saint John Paul II, of whom he has been one of the most prominent scholars and interpreters. He is a member of the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences and Professor of Philosophy at the Edith Stein Institute of Philosophy in Granada. He has pursued an extensive international academic career and is the author of numerous works on philosophical, political, and social questions. Alongside his intellectual work, he has held important responsibilities in Italian public life, including Minister for European Community Policies and Minister for Cultural Heritage and Activities, as well as serving for many years in Parliament.

José Mauro del Sagrado Corazón González-Luna Mendoza

José Mauro del Sagrado Corazón González-Luna Mendoza is a Mexican lawyer, professor, author, and former legislator. A graduate of the Escuela Libre de Derecho, he earned a master’s degree from Harvard University and was a member of the Harvard Institute for International Development. He has taught law at Universidad Panamericana, the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), and the Escuela Libre de Derecho, while also practicing law professionally. He served as an opposition member of Mexico’s Chamber of Deputies during the LVI Legislature (1994–1997). A columnist and author, he has written works on the philosophy of law and international arbitration. Born in Mexico City in 1952 and a member of the González Luna family, he maintains a particular connection with Mexico’s twentieth-century intellectual, civic, and Catholic tradition.

Anuar Emanuel López Marmolejo

Anuar Emanuel López Marmolejo is a Mexican lawyer, professor, and researcher. He holds a law degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara and a master’s degree in Public Administration from the Universidad del Valle de México, and has also pursued graduate studies in Social Management and Public Policy at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG). At UAG he has held several academic positions and teaches philosophy, with experience in Philosophical Anthropology, Logic and Philosophy of Science, Professional Ethics, Public Management, and Political Philosophy. He has also served as a parliamentary adviser and public official. He has delivered more than one hundred lectures on philosophy, politics, history, law, and religious culture, with particular attention to Anacleto González Flores, the Cristiada, and historical movements of Catholic resistance. He is an active member of the Cátedra Anacleto González Flores and a founding member of Juristas Católicos de México.

Amado Martín Vázquez Martínez

Amado Martín Vázquez Martínez is a Mexican journalist, author, professor, and historical communicator with more than four decades of experience in journalism, editorial leadership, and institutional communications. He has worked as a reporter, correspondent, editor, and director in print, radio, and digital media, while also teaching specialized journalism, communications, public speaking, and values education. He has participated as a speaker in conferences on scientific and religious journalism and in forums addressing society and religion. In recent years, he has devoted particular attention to communicating Mexico’s religious history, delivering lectures on Anacleto González Flores and the Cristiada. An accomplished public speaker, he has received 37 awards in national, state, municipal, and university oratory competitions. He is also the author of novels, essays, chronicles, and works on journalism.

Juan Martín Gama Jaramillo

Cátedra Anacleto González Flores

Juan Martín Gama Jaramillo is a Mexican historical researcher and lecturer. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the Universidad del Valle de Atemajac and pursued undergraduate studies in History at the Universidad de Guadalajara, as well as a diploma in Mexican History from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He is founder and coordinator of the Cátedra Anacleto González Flores and head of the Guardia Nacional Cristera in Guadalajara. His research and public lectures have focused particularly on the history of Mexican Catholic movements, Anacleto González Flores, and the Cristiada. In 2026 he participated in the organization of the First National Cristero Congress and delivered a lecture on the mobilization of Mexican Catholics between 1920 and 1926, during the years immediately preceding the Cristero uprising.

Leticia González-Luna Mendoza

Leticia González-Luna Mendoza holds a master’s degree in Family Education from Universidad Panamericana. She has devoted much of her career to the promotion of life and the family and to civil society participation in matters related to education, human rights, and public policy. She is president of Voz Pública A.C. and a cofounder of CONFAMILIA ABP and México es Uno con los Niños. She has participated in the World Meetings of Families in Mexico and Philadelphia, as well as in international meetings in Rome and forums organized by the United Nations and ECLAC. From 2011 to 2015, she hosted the radio program Al rescate de tu familia.

Patrick Quinlan

Doctoral Researcher in Global Law

Patrick Quinlan is a doctoral researcher based between Spain and Texas. He is pursuing a doctorate in Global Law at the University of Navarra, where his research examines the state of exception, the encyclical Quas Primas, the Cristiada, and Blessed Anacleto González Flores. He has been a visiting researcher at the University of Notre Dame Law School and at the Cardinal Sandoval Íñiguez Library in Guadalajara. He holds a Master’s degree in Theology from Franciscan University of Steubenville, where he studied teleology, eudaimonia, and the social kingship of Christ in Saint Augustine and Saint Thomas Aquinas, as well as the writings of Fr. Mateo Crawley-Boevey on the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart. He is also translating into English writings by Blessed Anacleto González Flores and a twentieth-century work on government and the common good.

Daniel Casillas Martín

Daniel Casillas Martín is a Mexican lawyer, author, and researcher. He holds a law degree and a master’s degree in International Corporate Law from the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, together with specialized studies in United States law, intellectual property, philosophy, and teaching. He has practiced law since 1990 and is director of the consulting firms Creátum & Custos Ars, as well as an academic collaborator with several universities. He is a member of the Mexican Association of Catholic Jurists and co-founder of México Guadalupano. In recent years, he has devoted particular attention to the study and communication of the Guadalupan event and its historical, religious, and cultural significance. He is the author of Dogmaría de Guadalupe, Reina de la Luz y de los Ángeles, and Cristiada Guadalupana, which explores the Guadalupan dimension of the Cristero movement.
